Saint Patrick’s Day is a popular holiday celebrated on March 17 and therefore we decided to celebrate this national celebration in our school also!

Saint Patrick’s Day is a national holiday in Ireland and is celebrated with parades and reunions.  Yet people in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other countries enjoy the holiday, too.

In our school we celebrated this day by dressing up in green, the national colour and many leprechauns could be found around the school.  We also danced and sang songs, whilst carrying out many cross-curricular activities where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and sharing this amazing day with those around us!
