Art and Design is a wonderful ingredient in our curriculum where children are able to let their imagination go wild and create something unique!  Our children learn to think and act as artists, makers and designers, working creatively and intelligently using a range of skills and critically reflecting on their designs.

This term in year 1/2 the children are designing bags with their personal artwork, cutting them out and then sewing them.  It is a fabulous process where the children go through the deign process taking it all the way through to the creation of personal designer pieces!  Nevertheless, it has to be said that even better than their art are their proud smiles as they show off their delightful creations!
